A little closer than I thought for me going in - I continue to like this Creatures more every time I listen to it. Not quite enough to overtake the Beasthuvan, but a worthy competitor and excellent jam from a song that rarely produces such sparkly gems

Madhhuvan is probably PEAK of the year, but the jam doesnt go to enough spaces for me to really consider it JOTY.

I never thought I'd be voting for a Creatures > Madhuvan , but alas

I really wanted to vote for the Creatures here, but when listening to these side-by-side I had to give my vote to Mad.

The Creatures peak is so moving and does not fail to make me smile literally every time I listen, which would be why I'd generally edge it above this Mad, but I guess I forgot how absolutely fkn disgustingly good the final Mad peak is, and with it having a more engaging build/general jam, it gets my vote. Tough one!

Creatures shouldn’t have even beat the AZ Dripfield and has no business against this Madhuvan.

I don’t get why everyone loves this Creatures - it’s so repetitive! Marimbas nice but same riff for 15 min? GR Madhuvan has more creativity in 30 sec than the Creatures has in its entirety. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Decent showing by this Creatures holding 40% of the vote. It’s my choice here but this Madhuvan train can’t be stopped right now. Next round should be interesting.

This isn't even close for me...Thatch is sick. No disrespect to a very stout Creatures but it feels familiar (maybe b/c I've listened to it so many times) while Thatch is very unique and dark and just fucking incredible. The twin guitar attack also very much appeals to me. I think this is my JOTY...maybe.

A bit biased as I was there for this Creatures but it was outer limits and deserves to move on because it was the GOAT and held together this one set killer show

Y’all… this Madhuvan SLAPS!!! I honestly did not want to send another through, but like it’s just not even fair to put creatures up against this absolute shreddery. God I’m jealous of everyone that was there. The back and forth moments are my absolute fav. And holy shred Rick!!!
Creatures was amazing!!! Makes me feel like I’m lost deep space/the sea. I love those feelings at shows. But Madhuvan transcends on so many levels.

It's comforting that at this stage ALL of these Jams are bonified FIRE and won't be upset over any of the results.... This is one of the all time Creatures against one of the all time jams.

I love this Creatures, and will be sad to see those sweet marimba vibes go... but my heart and my vote have gotta go with my hometown (or at least home state) Madhuvan. I'd love to see something from a show I was at be crowned the Jam of the Year.

So Milwaukee EMG is gonna be up against this Madhuvan. It was the 5th ranked jam but is gonna go against the 1st ranked jam in quarterfinals if gets out of 16

So glad this Creatures made it into the sweet 16. It is one of my most listened to jam this year and one of my personal favorites. It’s such a unique jam with so many layers to it. I especially love how prevalent the marimba is, and the whole bands ability to weave around it in such an upbeat and melodic way. Unfortunately, it gets absolutely trounced by this Madhuvan, which is not only my JOTY, but my favorite Goose jam ever played. I have a lot to say about it next round.

Voting for the fantastic Creatures and encouraging everyone else to vote for it, too. It's a great jam and should topple the #1 seed.

going Creatures. Streamed the Madhuvan live and it was awesome, but I'll probably never listen to it again. This Creatures is going to be a fixture on playlists for a while.

Love the Creatures and have returned to it so often. Just the best... Obviously it's a long-shot to topple the Peter-endorsed Madh but we do what we can.

Iowa was a perfect summer night- the rain (and subsequent rainbows) before the show were majestic. No cost for admission. Good vibes from all the college bros and lasses abounded. The free t-shirt was a real score! Definitely a memorable Goose experience for all.

Musically, i think any of the jams from 2/15 are better than this Creatures, so my vote easily goes to Madhuvan. Funny that it's been mentioned that this Madhuvan opens portals to other dimensions... I distinctly remember Goedde's lights during the final frenetic ending jam of Madhuvan and thought the music + the lights was indeed causing a black hole to occur in Grand Rapids. And I was definitely getting sucked in.

But the vibes were off the charts at Iowa.

Fun fact, the lunar new year in 2025 didnt happen until 2/12, so GR Madhuvan was the first version played in the year of the snake.. Coincidence? Nope I dont believe in those.

This Creatures is HOT but the Madh is a cut above, in my opinion. Controlled chaos and DEEP musical conversation. This is the kind of stuff that opens portals to other dimensions 🫠

This one is killn me. I absolutely love this sort of one-of-a-kind Creatures. But the Madhuvan bias is real.

Not in love with the GR madhuvan, it probably DESERVES my vote, but going creatures nonetheless cause I enjoy it more

Today and tomorrow are the only “easy” votes in the sweet 16 for me. It gets much harder to choose after that and if things shake out how I think they will. The elite 8 matchup between GR Madhuvan and MKE EMG will be a clash of Titans.

Two rounds in a row I have not voted for this Creatures, and been on the other side of the crowd. Not to discredit this Creatures at all, its just been my second choice against literally everything its gone up against. Its not you its me, and something tells me I'll be the majority finally for the Sweet 16.
