Rosewood is fun but this Drip is on another level.

Was thinking i was definitely going Creatures. But those last 4 minutes of Rosewood went tf off. Rosewood it is.

Too easy.Drip for the win. But didnβt catch the cool ending on the Rosewood first time around. Good listening
3 weeks ago
Don't love love love either of these... but the Dripfield has a good groove, so that gets my vote. Nothing special with the Rosewood.
for rosewood here. Those last few minutes were the best minutes of music in the two songs. Wasnβt blown away by the dripfield
3 weeks ago
That this Rosewood is losing is just silly
3 weeks ago
as aforementioned,
Rosewood Heart from their Cornell
should lead to round 2

Pretty sure that despite heavy messaging on several platforms, there are some people who are not scrolling down to see the second matchup. I canβt judge, I didnβt see that there was a preorder link for two night msg presale for the same reason π€·π»ββοΈπ«

Why donβt the total votes between the 2 daily matchups equal each other?

I for one love the live results tally and the little pop up notifications when people post or vote

Last few dope minutes of Rosewood ainβt enough to take down that monster Drip!
I share what some others are saying i.e., Dripfield is meh as far as Dripfield jams go but Rosewood is a special one...the last two minutes or so Rick is freaking possessed! And a dark Rosewood?!? I'm for that!
This is a delightful Rosewood and I really enjoyed relistening to it here. Not sure I would call it bracket material, but it makes enough sense as a 13-seed
I'm not as hot on this Drip as many seem to be. Probably more of an 8 or 9 seed by my standards than the 4-seed the crowd bestowed upon it. But it's a really nice Drip with some extra mustard in the jam and should win this round handily.

Gorgeous 80s synth and octave vibes on the Dripfield jam, but never really felt it built to anywhere special on its own, instead relying on a somewhat forced and formulaic peak to close it out. A fun listen no doubt!
This Rosewood is a journey though, from one of the most beautiful songs to one of the darkest jams. A story of love and pain. Can't believe this is the first time I'm listening to it!

Rosewood got screwed by this seed. It should probably be an 8/9

Drip Drip hooray!

Rosewood Heart was sooooo good

This Drip was seeded perfectly. Really enjoyed the Rosewood but happy to see the voters not totally married to the winter tour. Take your beer goggles off people. There are some that are way over seeded

Excellent Rosewood gets my vote.

I still love you rosewood

Can't believe this, we are talking about a proper Hosewood here. So good and jampacked with energy. Really good Drip, but outside a very short section towards the end, it's kind of searching.

Dripfield was #65 for me. Rosewood was solid as well. Tough call on jams I wouldn't have seeded but need to go Drip.
Both solid but not outstanding jams. Dripfield gets the edge for me because of the woozy/druggy feel to parts of the jam. Much better versions of both songs coming later in the bracket.

This Dripfield was awesome, but was in attendance for the Toronto Rosewood, peaking with a Canadian friend I met in the crowd. First time in Canada was awesome so have to go with the Rosewood.
This Dripfield is pure fire from start to finish. Too bad more people didn't hear it live.
This one hurts, I love the Toronto Rosewood. I ranked it 17! If it was played at a more well attended show it would be seeded higher and itβs the BEST rosewood played in 2025. Come at me Boise fans.
Having said that, this Drip is incredible and my #12 overall. I return to it often because of its addictive disco vibes. Drip gets the nod here.

This should be a double double-seed second round match up.

Vastly underseeded jams here. However, this Drip is special, best of the year

An amazing Dripfield...but man, I really loved this Rosewood. <3

So many great jams.

Gah. Going Dripfield here (my no. 7 overall), but I think this Rosewood (my no. 12 overall) is vastly under-seeded. Such a unique jam. A twisting, gnarly, bluesy groove that morphs into driving madness at the end. I'm bummed that this groundbreaking jam will be left out of the second round in favor of fluff from MSG, Philly, or Colorado. Oh well. Same as it ever was.
But yeah this Dripfield - I'll have more to say about it in later rounds. My current GOAT Dripfield, edging out Grand Rapids. It's a masterpiece. First jam is somehow funky and rocking and effects-laden and cohesive all at the same time. And then the finale is one of the most intense builds of the year and pushes this jam into JOTY territory.

Toronto having multiple entries is kind of wild. Dripfield easy win even though many of them are the same this one has a little something. 2 better Rosewoods this year only one of which made the bracket (Rosewood Harp).
My #2 Dripfield of the year moves on here. I love Rosewood Heart but donβt think it stands a chance.
This drip is an all timer. This isnβt even close
3 weeks ago
My top '25 Dripfield moves on against a solid but outmatched Rosewood Heart.
The most solid Dripfield in the past couple years. This should destroy the very underrated RWH from the very underrated Toronto shows.
Best Rosewood of the year, Drip is better but voted RWH as it was easily a top 10 most listened jam for me this year, listen to this Rosewood!
So long, Hoserwood. We barely knew ye π’
Dripfield will win easily but I implore anyone reading this to check out the Rosewood. Two phenomenal jams right here.
As one of the few who had Toronto as the Rosewood of the year (significantly ahead of Boise) and one of my favorites in years, it pains me to say that this glorious RWH should and will lose so dramatically to this spectacular Dripfield.
I had Drip at 10, just a smidge behind GR Drip. It does stay in structure for a while, not really pivoting until 20β. But from there, this oneβs got the goods, with Pete on contrary movement with the dark descending keys. Each guyβs doing his thing independently while they hold it together cohesively as a unit. Quarteting at its best. Bonus points for completing the song. π¦

THE PHOENIX DRIPFIELD
An absolutely RELENTLESS jam

Peterβs keys on this dripfield are top notch. Love it. I thoroughly enjoyed the Rosewood but I donβt think it stands a chance.

This Dripfield is a monster, and only 1 of 2 in the running this year...not really fair for to this Rosewood that also absolutely cooks, but is far inferior to the scorched earth they left in Boise. Trevor's leadership in the Drip jam is the difference for me here.
