Yes @ dbag203 thatโs exactly it :)

It's criminal this Tumble was a 16 seed, could have beat out some others on the list. I understand the criticism of the AIN but I can't praise this AIN enough. Yes, the jam isn't an adventure or rollercoaster. It's a structured drop off and come up. Rick is literally locked in getting melodies from a higher power and the rest of the boys are in flow state with him. You ever go to a show and say "they did the thing" after an incredible jam? This is the purest form of "the thing" you can get and what the magic of a jam show is all about.

@teddeadjed: Donโt forget that Rick was wearing the same shirt during Whip It. Just sayingโฆ.

Going to be a contrarian here and vote for the Tumble. For me this All I Need is very good, and deserving of the W, but I just prefer the dancey Tumble. It's fun and funky which is my favorite kind of jam. The cool down to segue into Factory Fiction is sick too, and was a hoot live. (Attendance bias). Cheers to this incredible AIN though! I really liked the melodic Trevor section around the midway point, that was dope.

This AIN will be dismissed by some as just another bliss jam. It's not and it shouldn't be. Neal often discusses how Rick has the ability to pull melody out of thin air; I would also add that the the band has this ability to recognize when this is happening, lock in and provide a structure around which to enable that creativity to not just happen, but develop and influence the exploration. Like the Cap Myst last year, this was one of those magic jams. Sure, the underlying structure of the jam has been played before. I've heard hundreds of versions of Eyes of the World played around the same basic structure - some are just...different. Phrasing, feel, melody and cohesion play an equally important part as novelty in my opinion, and perhaps more. It's the reason this AIN will stomp the MKE Animal in the next round, a bliss jam that's really good but not special.
~And shoutout to B and Becca for providing immaculate vibes during the jam~

B Dunn and Juzzle have things to say about Westville AIN, probably.

I'm not as geeked about this All I Need as a lot of other folks are (I think I had it ranked at 11 in my picks), but I can understand why so many people love it. Itโs definitely not that throw-down, bare-knuckle, brawl of a dance party... but it's got a great Phishy vibe to it and might be one of the most beautiful songs of the year.
That saidโฆ this Tumble from Fiddlerโs is under-ranked in my opinion. Itโs super-raw, and has so much of that James Brown/Doctor Detroit swagger! While Trevor shines brightest on this oneโฆturn it up loud and listen to all the layers and textures that Cotter, Peter, and Rick sprinkle throughout that funky first act. Definitely picked up on some Third Stone From The Sun vibes in that transitional segment about โ of the way through as well.
While I have the AIN moving through on my bracketโฆ I forgot how fun it is this Tumble is. Definitely closer than the 1/16 seeding would suggest.

Going All I Need here, even though I'm stunned that it's a 1-seed. It's a beautiful jam, no doubt. But I feel like it's much closer in quality to the 2/6 Animal in today's other matchup than to the other 1-seeds in this tournament. And on top of that, as others have mentioned, the band played literally the same jam the week prior at Mountain Jam in Echo of a Rose.
I'm a little bummed that this Tumble made the bracket over the version played at Hulaween. If that Hula version had been played at Fiddler's instead of this one, it would be a... 10 seed? 7 seed? It's a phenomenal jam. Listen to it if you haven't yet. It's another jam that makes me wonder why this All I Need ended up so highly rated. (If this All I Need is a 1-seed, how the heck is that Tumble not even in the tournament?)
Anyway, this Fiddler's Tumble is ... fine. It's one of the more non-descript jams in the bracket. The first jam has good energy and has hints of You Spin Me Round (Like a Record). The second jam sounds like the standard jam coming out of Arrow.

All I Need is such a gorgeous jam. Hood-like qualities when they find their groove around the 10 minute mark. Unlike pretty much any other jam I've heard Goose put together, and all the more impressive is how it feels like right when the jam is about to fall apart and just kinda fizzle out is they find this beautifully soft tranquil jam that they ride to the finish line. Gets my vote, nothing else like it in the tournament.
With all that said, there really isn't a bad Tumble jam out there lol, and this one rules just like the rest.

Was lucky enough to be at the 6/29 show and it truly amazes me how overrated this All I Need is - one of my absolute favorite goose songs, first time I ever saw it live, have listened to it a bunch after, and it still is an absolute dud to me (when comparing it to how revered it is in the fan base). This Tumble wonโt beat it, but this AIN should be a 12-16 seed and hope it gets its ass kicked in the next round or sweet 16. Just because Rick was wearing a JOTY of The Year shirt doesnโt mean itโs an elite JOTY worthy ripper.

Fiddlerโs Tumble is good, but this groove from Trev is big time!

I'm partial to this All I Need since its a fav song of mine and I was there in CT on that hot humid night in the bowl, plus Rick was wearing his JOTY of the Year shirt that night as if he knew they were about to lay down the Jam of the year...how can you vote against that!!???

This All I need is a bit overrated in my opinion but still a top jam and crushes this Tumble.
Also, Iโm still upset about Tea losing to MSG Tumble yesterday.

Big T doing Big T stuff.
I have lots of thoughts on this Need not being what people seem to think it is. But that's for another day. This isn't a particularly strong Tumble against a very satisfying (and wildly popular) Need. This could be the first <10% loss of the tournament.

So excited for the All I need. Itโs okay but then Trevor steps up and creates something magical and the band follows his lead. Final four for me

Was Rick wearing a JOTY of the Year shirt when he played this Tumble? I think not.
